Las Vegas, widely celebrated as the world’s entertainment capital, is set to become the launchpad for the future of live experiences. In 2027, the city will host the debut of Mega Extraterrestrial Fest V—better known as MEF5—a three-day, 11-hour-a-day immersive music festival unlike anything the world has seen.
Described as “the world’s first extraterrestrial brand,” MEF5 is more than a festival—it’s an immersive, narrative-driven spectacle that blends global electronic music with original characters, cinematic storytelling, and breakthrough technology. At its core is a vision seven years in the making, led by Lucas Pina, former head of SBS Entertainment and current Creator and CEO of 360 Worldwide Entertainment (360WWE).
“It’s a cosmic fantasy genre that integrates philosophy, spirituality, science, and technology,” says Pina. “Through these four narratives, we aim to provide accessible insights from a non-violent perspective, fostering a new community that identifies as the SER -SER Generation.”
This SER -SER Generation is at the heart of MEF5’s mission: to unite a purpose-driven global audience through sound, story, and immersive innovation. The festival’s narrative unfolds across five fictional universes that predate the Big Bang, creating a multiverse where 25 original DJ characters—brought to life with music by award-winning producers—will perform alongside 15 world-renowned guest DJs aligned with the festival’s philosophy.
“Inspired by the cosmos and life beyond our planet, the festival is a spectacle that blends global electronic music with exclusive DJs, magical and immersive sounds, and an original narrative,” adds Pina.
Fueling this one-of-a-kind experience is SILVER, a proprietary technology developed exclusively by 360WWE. SILVER—short for Sensorial, Immersion, Live, Virtual, Experience, and Reality—will infuse every aspect of MEF5, from augmented reality and gastronomy to digital content and stage design.
“SILVER is more than a technical tool, it’s a methodology that transforms every festival component into a living part of the multiverse,” Pina explains. “It transcends traditional festivals, introducing a new cultural language for the emerging era.”
Guiding the execution of this interplanetary vision is Jere Harris, four-time Tony Award winner and founder and executive chairman of Production Resource Group (PRG). As General Producer of MEF5, Harris brings an unparalleled legacy in live entertainment, with past credits including EFX at MGM Las Vegas and Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark on Broadway.
Supporting Harris is James Lehner, also of PRG, who serves as Co-General Producer. Lehner is acclaimed for developing iconic attractions such as Terminator 2: 3D and Star Trek: The Experience at the Las Vegas Hilton—further anchoring PRG’s pivotal role in the MEF5 experience.
The festival is being produced in collaboration with a powerhouse team including MGM Resorts, SBS Entertainment, Weta Workshop, and MIO Design NYC. Industry veterans like John Fragomeni ( Global president of 360worldwide entertainment), Grace Roeder Oppenheimer (President of Mergers and Acquisitions), and Luis Pascual (Chief Creator of the Scenic Experience) round out a production team that is as bold and imaginative as the vision itself.
“MEF5 is more than the birth of a new festival; it marks the beginning of a new era in global entertainment,” Pina emphasizes. “It’s a call to new generations to inhabit a story that unfolds live, expands through video games, amplifies via apps, is shared on social media, and is felt in every fiber of the body.”
Expected to draw over 250,000 attendees from around the world, MEF5 is not just an event—it’s a movement. A collision of sound, story, and spectacle, MEF5 promises to transform Las Vegas into a launchpad for a future where entertainment transcends dimensions.
