The project was spearheaded by Ahmet Oytun Cakir, CEO of Gastronaut, with internationally acclaimed chef Reif Othman leading the human team that validates and refines Aiman’s creations before they reach the table. “Woohoo offers a daring, globally inspired menu, designed through the fusion of technology and culinary artistry,” Cakir explained. Unlike conventional AI systems used in hospitality, Aiman has been trained with decades of culinary science, molecular composition research, and thousands of recipes, allowing it to suggest dishes based on seasonality, cultural context, and even the diners’ moods.

Aiman’s mission goes beyond creativity. One of its most ambitious goals is to promote sustainability in fine dining. By identifying innovative uses for ingredients that are typically discarded, the AI helps reduce waste and lower costs. Woohoo’s team hopes this feature can eventually be licensed to other restaurants worldwide, extending its environmental and economic impact. The AI is not a replacement for chefs but a partner.
