The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia (CCIS) is proud to highlight Serbia’s role as the Official Future Digital Economy Partner Country for GITEX Global 2025, one of the world’s largest technology events. CCIS is leading a national delegation of Serbian IT companies and startups to Dubai, where they will showcase the country’s expanding strengths in digital product development, software engineering, and technology innovation.
The Serbian delegation will feature a diverse group of IT outsourcing companies and high-growth startups, highlighting a sector that has become one of Serbia’s fastest-growing exports. Serbia’s ICT service exports reached approximately €4.1 billion in 2024, with strong growth continuing in 2025. The delegation’s presence at GITEX will focus on building connections with enterprise clients across the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar, and promoting Serbia as a trusted European technology partner for the Middle East and North Africa.
“Being the Future Digital Economy Partner Country at GITEX Global 2025 gives us the opportunity to present Serbia’s technology sector at the highest international level,”said Marko Čadež, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia.
“Our IT industry combines cost efficiency with EU-standard quality and the ability to deliver complex digital products, making it an attractive partner for enterprises in the Gulf region.”
CCIS noted that the Serbian IT industry now counts over 4,000 companies, employing tens of thousands of professionals and working with enterprise clients worldwide. Many Serbian firms already collaborate with Fortune 500 companies in sectors such as fintech, telecommunications, healthcare, gaming, and e-commerce. The national delegation will showcase outsourcing firms known for enterprise-grade software solutions and startups introducing innovations in artificial intelligence, fintech, energy technology, and creative industries.
“Serbia’s participation as a Future Digital Economy Partner Country reflects the strong capacity of our IT companies and the innovation of our startups,”Čadež added.
“We aim to create meaningful business connections with companies from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar, and to position Serbia as a reliable technology partner for the entire MENA region.”
At GITEX Global 2025, the Serbian pavilion will host presentations, live demonstrations, and B2B meetings to introduce Serbian digital solutions to international investors and enterprise technology leaders. The event will also feature Serbian startups presenting products in areas such as AI, machine learning, renewable energy tech, and digital creative services, further strengthening Serbia’s position as an emerging hub for digital product development.
The CCIS delegation will be supported by representatives from the Serbian government, national investment agencies, and leading universities, demonstrating the country’s unified strategy to expand technology partnerships beyond Europe.
