Tag Markets has already moved beyond the stage of proving whether its brokerage model can attract scale.
Formulated in Colombia in 2023 and now operating from Dubai, the company reports more than 1 million clients and more than $820 billion in transactional volume. The question facing Tag Markets today is therefore not how to build the foundations of an international brokerage. It is how to extend a model that is already working into its next stage of global growth.
For Tag Markets, that means building on several areas that have developed together: international reach, proprietary technology, account innovation, partner infrastructure, education and continued regulatory expansion.
The company has never positioned growth around one product alone. Its wider strategy has been to create different reasons for traders and professional partners to interact with the brokerage while keeping those experiences connected through the same technology environment.
CopyX has become an important part of that approach.
Through CopyX, clients can review available traders and strategies, examine their results over time and decide whether they want qualifying trading activity replicated automatically in their own accounts. Those who prefer to analyse the markets and make their own decisions can continue to trade independently.
This creates two distinct forms of participation within the same brokerage. Rather than assuming every client should approach the market in the same way, Tag Markets can serve traders who want full control as well as those interested in following an existing strategy.
Account design extends that choice further.
Tag Markets has developed several trading account structures, including its Amplify offering and 12X and 24X models. These structures give clients alternatives to a single conventional account format and form part of the company’s broader approach to product development.
The significance of 12X and 24X goes beyond the multiplier itself. They demonstrate a willingness to develop different ways for clients to structure their trading capital and participation. As Tag Markets expands, differentiated account models give the company additional ways to serve traders with different preferences without abandoning the broader brokerage environment that has supported its growth to date.
Professional partners form another part of the strategy.
Tag Markets has invested in proprietary introducing broker technology that connects onboarding, account activity, reporting and client management. The partner infrastructure gives the company a system through which professional relationships can be managed as its international distribution continues to expand.
This matters because global brokerage growth is not driven only by attracting individual traders. Strong partner relationships can extend market reach, create local connections and support client acquisition across different regions. Providing those partners with purpose built technology strengthens the operating model behind that expansion.
Education adds another dimension.
Through its Forex education platform, clients can access video courses, step by step educational material and live training sessions at no additional cost. The resources give people an opportunity to develop their understanding of trading before deciding how they want to participate.
For Tag Markets, education complements rather than competes with technology. A client can learn first, compare the available account structures, explore CopyX or choose independent trading. That creates a broader relationship than simply providing market access.
The next part of the company’s strategy is international depth.
Dubai now serves as the operating base for a business that was conceived with global ambitions. Continued expansion gives Tag Markets the opportunity to take products that have already been developed and introduce them to a wider range of clients and partners across international markets.
Regulatory development forms part of that progression. As the company broadens its geographic footprint, continued regulatory expansion can support the credibility and market access required for a larger global brokerage operation.
The strategy is therefore less about changing direction than accelerating what has already created momentum.
CopyX can reach more users. The 12X and 24X models can broaden the account proposition. Partner technology can support a larger international network. Education can introduce more clients to the market before they participate. Regulatory and geographic expansion can extend the environment in which those products operate.
Tag Markets’ stated long term ambition is to compete with the largest Forex brokerages globally. Reaching that level will require continued execution, but the company is not approaching that ambition from a standing start.
The foundation is already producing scale.
What comes next is about taking a brokerage model that has grown rapidly from Colombia to Dubai and extending its technology, products, education and international reach further. For Tag Markets, the next chapter is not about discovering how to grow. It is about expanding the model that has already shown it can.
