Global Village, Dubai’s top destination for multicultural experiences, is set to kick off its 29th season starting Wednesday, October 16. The new season promises to be one of the most exciting yet, running until May 11, 2025, and featuring a vast array of attractions, performances, and cultural showcases from around the world.
As the region’s favorite family destination, Global Village continues to play a significant role in Dubai’s annual events calendar. It offers a unique combination of shopping, dining, entertainment, and cultural experiences, with 30 pavilions representing over 90 countries. This year, the number of shopping outlets exceeds 3,500, alongside more than 250 dining options and a lineup of over 40,000 live shows. For visitors, the vast array of activities ensures there is something for everyone to enjoy, whether they’re seeking thrilling rides, unique shopping, or diverse cuisines.
Cultural Highlights and New Pavilions
This season sees the addition of three new pavilions that celebrate the cultures of Jordan, Iraq, and Sri Lanka & Bangladesh. These new additions bring the total number of pavilions to 30, offering visitors the chance to explore the traditions, crafts, and food of these diverse regions. Each pavilion offers its own unique experience, ensuring a truly global journey for guests as they explore the best each country has to offer.
Expanding Dining Options with Exciting New Additions
Season 29 brings a fresh focus on dining, with over 250 options to choose from. A major highlight this year is the brand-new Restaurant Plaza, which showcases 11 double-story restaurants offering a wide range of international cuisines. This vibrant new dining area is located next to Carnaval®, Global Village’s funfair zone, and is positioned near a stage where live performances are held, allowing guests to enjoy great food while being entertained. Other exciting changes include the redesigned Railway Market and Floating Market, which now feature fresh, creative designs that enhance the dining experience. Additionally, Fiesta Street has been revamped with double-story kiosks, adding a lively atmosphere to this vibrant food street.

Thrills and Attractions for All Ages
Global Village continues to be a hub for thrilling rides and games, offering over 200 attractions. Many of these are found in the popular Carnaval® area, which includes returning favorites like Neon Galaxy X and the House of Fear, the largest haunted house in the region. This year also introduces new experiences, such as the interactive Secrets of the Lost City treasure hunt and the soon-to-be-launched Exo City Planet, a new attraction that promises fun for the whole family.
World-Class Entertainment and Stunt Shows
Entertainment is a major highlight of Season 29, with over 40,000 live shows set to captivate audiences. A standout this year is the Cyber City Danger Zone Stunt Show, where daring performers execute high-speed, gravity-defying stunts. Other performances on the Main Stage will include international acts like Urban Crew, AAINJAA, and African Footprint, alongside bespoke productions such as Merry-go-round and the all-new Haunted House show. For younger guests, Kids Theatre will host characters like PJ Masks, Peter Rabbit, and Octonauts, ensuring entertainment for all ages. Guests can also enjoy a spectacular 3D projection show inside the exit dome of the Gate of the World, adding another layer of visual excitement to the visit. The revamped Dragon Lake will once again delight audiences with its stunning dragon, now twice as large, as part of a laser and fire show held at regular intervals throughout the day.
Enhanced Visitor Experience with Green Promenades
This season, Global Village has introduced new green promenades throughout the destination, offering relaxing, spacious areas where visitors can unwind. These areas are designed to provide a peaceful contrast to the bustling attractions and include extended seating and customized benches, ideal for families and friends to relax after a day of exploring.
Convenient Ticketing Options
Tickets for Season 29 have been thoughtfully designed to suit different preferences. The Weekday ticket offers great value for visits from Sunday to Thursday, excluding public holidays, while the Any Day ticket provides flexibility for visits any day of the week. Tickets are available for purchase online through the Global Village website, mobile app, or at the gates. Prices remain unchanged from previous seasons, with the Any Day ticket priced at Dh30 and the Weekday ticket at Dh25. As in previous years, Tuesdays are reserved for families and ladies, excluding public holidays.
