Dubai’s rise as a centre for global talent is not confined to offices or boardrooms: The city’s status as a global hub for business and productivity is reflected in the homes its residents choose to stay, where living space and professional ambition converge everywhere from landmark towers to new creative clusters.

French entrepreneur Timoté Chanut made CityWalk his home in 2023. Speaking of his 175-square-metre two-bedroom apartment, Chanut says that CityWalk provides him with both space for living and space to work - a combination which allows him to rest and produce content without leaving the building. The neighbourhood’s walkable layout and mix of families and professionals suit his lifestyle, while proximity to cafés, shops, and the constant presence of supercars adds the energy he associates with Dubai. Speaking of CityWalk, Chanut views the apartment as both an investment in his work and a place he genuinely enjoys.

Polish-born and Belizean by nationality, Vladimir Burke works at the intersection of Gulf and Japanese payment systems through his company Pagava Holding. His business focuses on navigating regulatory gaps in markets still finding their regulatory footing, where reliable cross-border transactions are essential. Since February 2025, Burke has been based in a three-bedroom, 187-square-metre apartment in Address Sky View Residence. The building, a landmark development overlooking Downtown Dubai, situates him in proximity to the city’s commercial centre and its luxury core. For Burke, the choice of residence signals confidence in Dubai’s position as a long-term hub for business growth.

Canadian digital creator Christian LeBlanc, better known as Lost LeBlanc, has based himself in Dubai Hills Estate with a two-bedroom unit in Collective 2.0. He describes it as his “Dubai headquarters” and “desert Creator Studio” - a base from which he can balance content production with long stretches of focused work. He speaks fondly of the building’s co-working areas, gym and cinema room, while the wider estate offers running tracks, green spaces and direct access to Dubai Hills Mall. For LeBlanc, who has spent years moving between destinations, his apartment is designed with productivity in mind, from reliable high-speed internet to workspaces that double as creative studios.

Dubai is not just a place where people come to work - it is where they choose to root their ambitions. For Chanut, Vladimir Burke, and LeBlanc, the city’s apartments are but active parts of their professional live. In their choices of City Walk, Sky View, and Dubai Hills, you see the layers of a city that rewards pace and permanence.
